The wand is a fine-toothed comb: drawn up from the root, it catches each lash, straightens it, lengthens it, and leaves the tip curling upward. The fluid is a sheer black, so lashes never turn chalky white — it lays down an invisible foundation for whatever mascara follows.

[12-hour silhouette hold] A thin-film setting formula locks in both the length and the upward arc. The brand's own testing records curl, length and smudge-resistance holding for 12 hours (Shiseido in-house data; results vary by individual).
[Sheer black fibre fluid] The fluid is a clear black carrying two lengths of ultra-fine black fibre, so lashes deepen rather than whiten — the effect reads as your own lashes, longer.
[Purpose-built comb applicator] A comb developed for this product reaches the very tip of every lash and sweeps stray ones back into a single clean curve.
[Waterproof, yet warm water takes it off] A softening agent lets the film loosen in warm water; a gentle circular wash with your usual cleanser removes it, with no cleansing oil needed. If a waterproof mascara was layered on top, an oil-based eye remover is still required.
